Have a Winter Sport. Build a snowman, throw a snowball, go sledding, go to the movies, rent a movie. Because when the weather is nice, we don't waste a minute of it in front of the TV or at the movies. We are boating, fishing, camping, watersking, wakeboarding, just floating in a tube soaking up the sunshine storing it up for a rainy day. I'm from Sunny San Diego, but moved to beautiful northern Idaho and wouldn't go back for anything. Not even for constant sunshine.

Other than the shorter days of winter which we all have, we still have many activities to experience.

Key to getting the Winter Blues is sitting in front of the Boob Tube and key to staying out of Cabin Fever is Shutting of the Boob Tube.

Why would anyone think we have less to do?

What do you do in Summer when it is unbearably hot if you live in that type of Climate.

I'm in Ontario, Canada, and I swear we have four months of winter, and most of those days are cloudy.

I have a special light that puts out light waves similar to the sun, and it helps. I also get outside as much as I can. Dogs are good for making one go outdoors!

Seattle - it rains a lot but not everyday... during summertime, people go crazy (in a good way) and businesses are slow. Winter time, its no difference than summer, people go out and shop for christmas gifts and all... rain or shine.
