I'm gonna buy myself some airsoft gear soon, you know - vest, pants, combat shirt... all that.

Previously I was 100% certain I would go for Multicam as it seemed to blend in really well in the pictures I saw of it. But my site is mostly woodland and grass, and I don'y know if MC would be the best choice in that case. So do you think MC would pass the test, or should I use a different camo, if so, which one?

Since I'm very specific with the vest I'm getting, I'm limited by its camos, so my options are:

Multicam
ACU (UCP)
Ranger Green
Khaki
Coyote Brown
Olive Darb.

MC is great for most environments, as a lot of people use it at my local field (Upstate NY, lots of green woods and such). I would not recommend ACU/UCP as it's kind of a crappy pattern for anything except urban or rocky environments. Personally, I run 3 Color Desert with a Coyote Brown vest. I'd suggest getting a camouflage BDU set and then a solid color vest, as it generally looks better than camouflaged vests (personal opinion). Just remember that MC is going to be significantly more expensive than other camos, another reason for the solid-colored vest.

Also, do NOT mix camouflages. You'll look stupid and it'll actually make you contrast more with your environment. Mixing solid colors looks alright though, depending on how you do it. Ultimately, however, it comes down to personal preference.

I don't know were the people that said ACU get there information. I was in ROTC and wore ACU's for the whole time i was in high school for airsoft. I have literally been next to people in OD green and woodland uniforms and got shot at. After the game i ask them how they knew we were there and was told "we? i only saw you". i had been next to 5 people in woodland camo. ACU is a terrible pattern it has only light colors that do not even appear in a woodland environment. When was the last time you stood in a forest and saw sand that was 5 foot off the ground? My whole team switched back to the old Woodland BDU and ever since we did we have been kicking ***. We had a 10 man squad walk whiten 20 feet of us a few games ago we were not even laying down we were standing up and they didn't see us until we fired on them. Thats said our uniforms are woodland BDU pants with OD green vests and leg holsters. we also wear black T shirts instead of camo shirts.

i personally would go with the ACU option. being that the site is that of mostly woodland and grass, ACU would be the best to blend with both in direct sunlight and also shade exposure. also on another note it is a great choice for even urban warfare. basically u can use the camo in almost any battle situation u were to encounter effectively. also it is the primary uniform worn by the US ARMY!!
