Echo 1 SCAR or Echo 1 Stag Arms M4?

Question

Ok so I'm looking at getting into airsoft. So which ones the better gun? The SCAR is more expensive but also more customizable. I love the classic M4 look though. So which one would you recommend me to buy?

I say the SCAR. My first AEG was a JLS SCAR L and i havent had any problems with it at all. also not many people have a SCAR so you will stand out on the battle field. also in my opinion the scar looks more terrifying than the M4.

They're the same gun with different externals. The gearbox and everything else is the same; they even use the same magazine. Since its your first gun I suggest the M4. It is customizable in so many ways and is generally the better starter weapon. I always suggest Echo 1/JG M4s to beginners as the best starting weapon. Do some research on airsoft and guns before you buy however, to ensure you properly maintain your weapon. For example, it is highly recommend to get a "real" battery, to replace the crappy one that normally comes with your gun. Another item to look for is a smart charger, to properly charge your batteries. Check out different airsoft forums and websites; they provide a wealth of information that can be very useful to you. And most of all, have fun with your new gun. If you maintain your equipment properly, airsoft can be a very rewarding hobby.

if you are looking for a good assault rifle, i would recommend the echo 1 stag carbine. i heard it has a very good rate of fire and if you can upgrade the battery if would be ridiculous. i have a JG MP5 and when i took it out of the box i knew the gun was amazing. only things i would have changed on the gun were the battery placement and the mag wobbles. the battery is in the front handguard and it is a pain to get in and connect. Getting back to you I think the stag carbine shoots around 350. i would think it is fairly accurate. my MP5 shoots 450 out of the box and i have an upgraded battery on mine so the FPS and ROF are amazing. the gun is deadly at like 150 feet. i still say get the JG MP5 RIS
