Do you prefer wooden bats or aluminum bats?

If you could only choose one for home defense

I prefer a loaded wooden bat for self defense because I`m old school battering ram. I learned from a little league coach just how to load them for a quick swing and that method really worked for young boys and girls that had weaker lower arms. I had a lathe at the time and committed to drilling them and adding a steel rod that would be epoxied in.I had always thought that the weighted end would be the end that contacted the ball but I was wrong. For weaker arms and wrist the weight is added in the grip end and really counter acts the weight of the bat for a quicker swing. Kids were taught to choke high and swing late and boy did the base hits rise, Just think how you could protect your life and others with an innocent little league bat.....awesome!

Don`t think for even a second that I don`t like the bonk sound that an aluminum bat makes on an intruder`s head....it`s just my nature to do it right the first time.

Bats? I prefer a Remington Tac 4 and a Glock 21. Other family members are similarly equipped.

I prefer a 12 gauge. This has nothing to do with hunting. Post it somewhere else.
