What websites sell Airsoft RIF's in the UK where you do not require a UKARA number?

I want to buy a fully black airsoft gun from a UK based website, no imports. It seems most of the UK airsoft sellers are part of UKARA and won't sell me a gun if I haven't got a number. Please don't tell me to get a license because that means waiting two months at least. I am a regular skirmisher which is a valid defence so don't start going on about laws, I know UKARA isn't part of the law but I can't find a place to buy RIF airsoft guns without a UKARA number. Can anyone suggest any sites? Thanks

There aren't any, plain and simple. UKARA may not be part of the law as written, but its so integrated into the way the VCRA works in relation to airsoft sales in the UK that it may as well be. the only way you'll be able to get an RIF without UKARA would be to buy privately (from ebay or the like) or to purchase the gun through a rental hire scheme, though you wont be able to take it home until your UKARA qualified if you do it this way.

First off its not a license, its just a registartion scheme.

The United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association (UKARA) was set up by the Retailers as a responce to the Violent Crimes Reduction Act (VCRA). The stipulation for a defence to the VCRA is to "have played more than 3 games in not less than 2 months at a full insured site". The key words here are "fully insured site".

If your site is a member of the UKARA scheme then you can get your site to validate the registration paperwork based on their records i.e. no waiting, just send the form off.

If the suite is insured but not a member of UKARA you can in some cases contact the retailer and give then your site membership and the site contact details and they will verify your defence.

If the site is not insured then your defence is invalid anyway.
