Hello-

Two great camps that I've heard of are both located in Ontario. They are both co-ed summer camps and range in age from 7-16 years of age. Camp White Pine is more traditional with general sports and activities. Camp Arowhon is more outdoors based. Here are the links to these 2 summer camps:

Camp White Pine: http://www.choicecamps.com/overnight-summer-camps/ontario/camp-white-pine/115/

Camp Arowhon: http://www.choicecamps.com/overnight-summer-camps/ontario/camp-arowhon/109/

Also, you should check http://www.ChoiceCamps.com. You'll be able to compare camps, check out their activities, watch dvds and view pictures.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions.

Try a CIT program, I live in Nevada so I don't know of camps in Washington but if you ask around you can probably find a camp that other people have liked. As soon as you find one, call them up because camp season has already started so you want to make sure they still have spots. The best thing about being a CIT is that you are more independent but you still have to work with younger campers but that is always fun.

there is 3,all in Muskoka Ontario I would suggest. the first is called Medeba, it has swimming, high ropes, low ropes, zip line, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, and way more for activites. the cabins are awesome and fit around 12 people. the girls and boys have seperate cabing but during the day u can hang out. its AMAZING! the food is amazing and its really fun. the second is called Muskoka Woods and its basically the same thing but it also has things like skateboarding and volleyball. the 3 is Mini yo we and its also like the other 2 with teatherball and basketball. if u have ever seen the movie it takes 2 with mary-kate and ashley it was filmed at mini yo we. i reccomend all these camps and yes ive been to all of them to. if you want more info, i would also google it. hope this helped :)

There are a number of excellent sources for summer camps in Canada (or just Ontario, if that's the province you are interested in).

The Ontario Camping Association lists summer camps from across Ontario. Check out their search engine at

http://www.ontariocamps.ca/search/

There are also a number of directories that focus on summer camps in Canada. Check out the search engine at camps.ca, with camps from across Canada and the northern US. They have a really great way of narrowing down your search.
