Its a matter of personal preference. What makes you more comfortable?

Some peeps will tell you pumps are slower ROF but better at long distances. I personally have an auto-trigger on 2 of my pumps, this allows my ROF to increase. Granted I cant outshoot those powerboards that do 30bps...but I only need one shot to take you out of a game, the other 29 are wasted. Distance and accuracy, I can geat great distance with my pumps...but with technology alot of semis now have been able to achieve increased distances..ie Flatline barrels. Same holds true for accuracy.

Ive played paintball since the early 90's. Ive played both pump and semi. I love pump, but at the same time I love semi. My advice, try them both. I play pump more often then not, it allows me to choose my shots, not worry about marker failure, board failure or batteries dying.

Plus I really like the look on peoples faces when I walk on with just my pump, a 3.5oz tank and a 50 round hopper. No one will take you serious, until you start racking up a body count.

Hope this helps.

Uhh, as it should be obvious, the Regular is better.

But the Pump is more challenging and fun to play with but don't go charging into a game with pros with a pump.

Pump:

Pros: Accurate, more challenging, and more fum to play with.

Cons: Slow.

Regular:

Pros: Fast, semi-accurate, also fun to play with.

Cons:

Well hope I helped.

Pump guns are one step up from a pistol(hand gun). They are good.

pump guns are slower. regular guns can shoot faster.
