Too many nice ones to just say one is the best, my personal favorite is Dye....

Finally a simple question. Without a doubt, hands down, undeniably the best marker on the planet is a planet eclipse Ego. From the 05 to the 08 they just keep getting lighter, and more innovative. They have consistently strived to improve and manufacture markers to meet the most grueling demands of extreme paintball players. They are the easiest to care for and maintain out of all the high level markers.

The Ego is to paintball what the jeep was to the military when it was introduced. I would beg to differ with anyone that says its only a matter of preference. Like I said the Ego is easier to maintain, requires less maintenance, has a higher air efficiency, and is capable of shooting any paint in any weather condition. In the rare event that you do have a problem with the marker, which is usually the result of user error, Planet Eclipse stands behind there product like no other company I have ever encountered.

I like to tell people that the ego is akin to a scalpel, in the fact that an Ego literally allows you to carve out the cancerous opposition from the paintball field with the agility of a highly trained surgeon. Now some of these other brutes may try and compare something like a Dye product to any of the Ego, Keeping with the medical analogy I say you can perform a tracheotomy with a pocket knife and a pen but when your really serious you not only expect but demand the very best available.

The Ego is simply and clearly the best marker the industry has ever seen without comparison.

I really hate to disappoint you Die Hard Dye fans as well…. Even your Golden Boy Ollie Lang , The man who literally gets paid 150k a year to push Dye gear will readily acknowledge the blatantly obvious supreme attributes of the Planet Eclipse Ego. I even heard he bought his nephew one for Christmas but lets keep that to ourselves cause we don’t want to spoil the surprise for the kid…..

Thank You,

You don’t need a source for a universal truth. Saying the Ego is the best is like saying Breathing is good, Water is wet, or fire burns..... I’m just sorry the pretenders tried to trick you... good thing I was here to align your perception with reality.... no need to thank me really ...its all in a days work for your friendly neighborhood paintball guy ...

Dye chuckles….as a matter of fact whoever said Dye should slap himself when he wakes up from his fairy tale….maybe even stand in the corner in a little time out until he has thought about what he was thinking …We should not even mention the poor guy that is already sulking in the darkened closet who suggest an ion....

I'm looking at paintball guns as a beginner but I am really leaning towards a Kingman Spyder Imagine.

It can go semi-auto, 3 round burst, and a 13 ball per second full auto mode. I've read some reviews and the reviews are good.

It all comes down to personal opinion. My vote goes to the Planet Eclipse EGO.
