How do you put a Daisy 4x15 scope on a DPMS/Colt A17 airsoft rifle?

I bought a scope for my DPMS/Colt A17 Airsoft gun but unfortunately it doesn't fit. I don't know whether I should look to buy rings that fit the railing or a railing that fits the rings. I've looked at what academy has online but i couldn't find any Daisy scope rings or DPMS railings. Unfortunately I also don't know the size or type of railings on the rifle but I'm pretty sure the rings on the 4x15 scope are the original. Please help.

that was my first gun! The scope you have is for bb guns, and the rail those come with is a 3/8 in rail, so i'm guessing that's what you've got. For the AR17 you'll have to get weaver rail mounts. ( or something like that) ( i had to do the same with my 4x15 scope, but you may have to wrap some duct tape around the scope to get it to fit into the rail mounts)
