Bt-4 Combat VS Tippmann 98 Custom?

It's going to be my first marker. I'm looking at the best value for my dollar. I will be playing woodsball, not speedball.

I'm wondering which gun is better accuracy wise, C02 consumption, speed, weight and also upgradability. I'm aware that the BT-4 Combat is about $30 cheaper. I was also wondering if I should spend the extra $30 and get the Tippmann depending on if there is much of a difference.

The 98 custom is not platinum, pro or has ACT.

well, the BT-4 is actually similar enough to the 98c but seems to be rated lower than the 98c. It is also recommended to get a better barrel. I have the 98c and I would say the same for it. So I guess if you're looking for price, go for it. I'd also suggest upgrading the trigger though

Both are highly durable, reliable, and accurate. I know the BT-4 is very customizable... I know the '98 has some customizable parts, but i don't think it's as much. The BT-4 can use compressed air and CO2. If you wanna go for the MilSim look...go with the BT-4. Honestly, i've only used the '98 once...but I own a BT-4, and it's a very good, accurate, and durable woodsball gun. I was hoping to get a response trigger on it...
